Hi, I'm from Charles Town, WV but I was born in Peru and am serving at Catoctin Mountain Park in Thurmont, Maryland. Previous work related to this current position involved whitewater rafting, campground management, and a 6-month term doing conservation work through the AmeriCorps Conservation Experience Mountain West branch. Through this position, I want to learn the inner workings of the National Park Service and the structures that run the many sites. I enjoy biking, birding, urban planning, and reading. I hope to work in restoration or resource management in the future.
