Raised alongside the Delaware River in New Jersey, Madison is excited to serve as a second-year CVA for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Having studied anthropology at Rutgers University, she is eager to continue to connect with the community and learn more about the rich history of the area. Here, her passion for outreach, education, and the past can blend together in this hands-on experience. She hopes to use this opportunity as a way to better understand how public spaces like parks and museums serve their respective regions.
